8:30pm LILISE

8:30pm LILISE

Lilise is a vital voice breaking into the UK pop scene. Her debut self-titled EP follows hot on the heels of her debut track Sweeter Than Poison and her second single You Don’t Own Me, showing Lilise’s ability to bare her soul through her lyrics, with well-crafted melodies and pop hooks. Lilise’s music embodies a youthful blend of introspection and exuberance, delivered as acoustic pop with hints of folk and Americana, and with themes that touch on body image, misogyny, love, and revenge. For fans of Maisie Peters, Billie Eilish, Lauv, Sara Kays, and Taylor Swift.

9:00pm JOSEPH BELL

9:00pm JOSEPH BELL

Joseph Bell picked up a guitar at age 13 and began performing around his hometown of Shrewsbury the year after. After moving to London, Bell released his debut EP ‘Dancing Days’ in November 2020, gaining support from online blogs and BBC Radio 1. His 2021 single ‘Lost Souls’ led to a live session and interview for BBC Introducing Shropshire, alongside gigs across the UK including multiple performances at iconic London venues such as Ronnie Scott’s and the Troubadour. Having built up a loyal following on the London live scene, Bell released his second EP ‘Hits’ in July 2023 to a sold-out launch party, showcasing a polished alt-pop sound and focusing on finding identity in the digital age. Joseph recorded another live session for BBC Introducing in November, and is currently acting as Creative in Residence at City University whilst working on a number of projects for 2024.

10:00pm THE JULIA SET

10:00pm THE JULIA SET

Based in and around the West London area, The Julia Set was formed in 2007 by a guitarist and a bass player who wanted to play “proper” rock. Gigs have included The 12 Bar Club, The Alleycat, Fiddlers Elbow, The Water Rats, and The Bedford, amongst others. As well as an EP (“Skyline“) recent  releases have been singles such as “Wild Wood” and “Love & Hate“, “Is This Your First Time?“, ”Finding Out”, “Running Through My Head”, “Sunday”, “No” and more. We would just describe ourselves, as an Indie Rock band seasoned with a hint of retro. We love the big, overlaid guitar sound. The line-up is Mickey Berry on lead vocals, Simon Goode on guitar, Tom Smith on the drums, and Mike Atkinson on bass & backing vocals.
